Resources for Policy Makers

For the past decade, VFA raises awareness on Capitol Hill through the Adoptive Family Portrait Project. We recruit families from various states and pair them with a member of congress from their state or district. Once paired, VFA writes the adoptive family's story and collects their family photo. The story and photo are display in the participating Congress member's office during National Adoption Month in November each year.
