Post-Adoption Services Evaluation Grants Released

On July 8, the Administration for Children and Families released a new grant opportunity for evaluations of programs intended to prevent disruption or dissolution of adoptive families that may result in foster care placements. Funded evaluations must meet the standards of the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse. If completed successfully, such grants may clear the way for future funding under the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA). This evaluation grant opportunity will provide an estimated $1.8 million for 1-2 grants. Applications are due September 8. Similar funding may be provided for additional grants next year.
