Meet Our New Policy Associate Intern Ellery Wolf

Hi, my name is Ellery Wolf. I am from Scottsdale, Arizona, and a rising senior at Indiana University in Bloomington. I am majoring in Nonprofit Management with a minor in Public Policy. I am particularly drawn to VFA because I am dedicated to assisting children and families of diverse backgrounds to navigate beyond their socio-economic circumstances. More specifically, I want to help our nation’s most vulnerable children achieve a better future. The achievement of such goals is more important now than ever. My nonprofit experience includes volunteering for the Swift Youth Foundation, a Phoenix-based organization whose mission is to empower vulnerable youth toward greater life opportunities since I was 16. I also interned last summer for Resilient Health, a nonprofit healthcare company whose mission is to instill resilience in its participants, who are typically from diverse, disadvantaged backgrounds, while helping them to effectively deal with various life challenges. I am very grateful and excited to be Voice for Adoption's Policy Associate Intern to help further its mission of ensuring that every child is in a safe and loving environment!
