About Northwest Resource Associates:
Northwest Resource Associates (NWRA) was created as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in the State of Washington in 1980. They deploy carefully selected, well-organized teams of professionals to respond quickly and effectively to emerging needs in the human services arena.
NWRA has an established record of almost 40 years of incomparable service in the Pacific Northwest states (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington), as well as nationally. Our Headquarters Office is in Seattle, Washington. They also have offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Wasilla, Alaska, and in Portland, Oregon.
Their work is supported by grants and contracts from federal, state and local government agencies; non-profit human services agencies; universities and research institutions; foundations; and corporations.

Their adoption and foster care services range from orientation, training and support of current and prospective adoptive and foster parents to maintaining state, regional, and national photo listing web sites, which feature children waiting for permanent homes.
