Report: IV-B Adoption Promotion and Support Spending Holds Steady

On April 22, the Administration for Children and Families released its latest annual report to Congress on IV-B funding. According to the report, spending on the Adoption Promotion and Support category has held steady at around 20-23 percent of Promoting Safe and Stable Families funds since 2016. There has been some variation among the states, however, with the set aside ranging from a low of 0% (Missouri) to a high of 35% (Vermont). Most states, however, hover around the national average.
